St Peter's Church is a vibrant and welcoming church family in a truly beautiful building, our parish church. We are an inclusive church and value our diversity: everyone belongs at St Peter’s!

We enjoy worshipping God with passion and beauty, in song and prayer, with modern and traditional music, hymns, and songs. Church is usually open Mon-Thu 9.15am to late afternoon for visits, in term time. Come and see this beautiful grade 1 listed church by Sir john Soane!

We’re here for you if you’d like to talk about the meaning of life, marriage, blessings, baptism, confession, funerals, memorial services, a home blessing, or if you would simply like to talk to somebody or would like a prayer.

St Peter’s General Fund Appeal 2026!

St Peter’s receives no external funding, and we are facing major costs including over £6000 in large maintenance costs on our building to keep the doors open and the lights on, as well as all work supporting the community in Walworth and all our community events. If you can support St Peter’s in our daily costs by donating, you’ll be helping us to stabilise our finances and to be better able to look after people and building!
